Ayurvastra is a branch of Ayurveda a 5000 year old Indian way of caring for ones health. "Ayur" in Sanskrit for health, "veda" means wisdom, and "vastra" is clothing. Ayurvedic clothing is made from organic fabric which is naturally hand spun and hand woven, the cloth is imbued with the medicinal properties of plants.
